Right now I have to manually switch it on in iCUE. I want to use a normal profile most of the time, but turn on the Monitor Screen effect mural automatically when playing games. There needs to either be a way to quickly turn on and off a mural, or have a way to turn on murals only when using an application or playing a game in fullscreen. Having the device boxes snap to a grid would also be amazing to make it easy to resize the boxes and place them precisely where you want them. There needs to be a way to snap devices to 1/2, or 1/3, or 1/4 of the screen. The functionality of placing devices on the mural is a huge pain right now. This, by far, my biggest issue right now. iCUE needs to scale the color properly with HDR turned on. If I just turn off HDR, without changing the image on the monitor, the colors are much more vibrant. Whenever I turn on HDR, the colors on my Corsair RGB devices (keyboard, mouse, light strips, etc.) are muted (reds turn to pink, orange to yellow, etc.). The monitor screen function doesn't seem to properly support HDR. I've been playing around with Murals, specifically the Monitor Screen effect, all day. Let us know what you think in the comments! Making this incredibly powerful if say you have a profile with standard lighting set up that you like for just general computing and a separate profile with the Murals "Monitor Screen" effect applied for gaming that you can switch to on the fly (or tie to a game executable) for your favorite game!Īnd that's it! Y'all may have noticed we've announced this feature as a Beta, and that's because this is a really new approach to lighting for us and we want our users to spend some hands on time with Murals and provide their feedback here in the forums.Īdditional release notes for iCUE 4.30.162 can be found here Murals are tied to profiles, so you can switch between profiles that you've set up with our standard layered lighting system and profiles that you've set up to use a Mural effect. You can also disable murals for individual devices if you'd rather that device use our standard lighting system.ĭevices that have been excluded from iCUE Murals (but still support the feature) are marked with a clear circle in the iCUE menus.Īnd will still have access to their standard lighting features and support multiple lighting layers (if the device is capable of doing so).Īlso, one last note. The devices panel on the left can be used to quickly select a device if it isn't immediately visible in a stack of other devices. Note that you can stack devices on top of each other if you want them to light up at the same time with the same colors of whatever animation source you've chosen. This will let you change the name of the effect, change the effect type, and adjust scaling.įurther adjustments can be made in the Murals tab at the top of the iCUE window, where you can change the placement, size, and orientation of your iCUE Murals-compatible devices along a 2D plane that represents your screen or other chosen lighting effect. To make further adjustments to an iCUE Murals effect that you've created, hover your mouse cursor over one of your effects and open the Colors and Settings menu. That effect will now be applied to all available devices that support iCUE Murals. New effects can be added by hitting the "+" button, and from there you can select from a variety of lighting effects.Īfter a brief setup process. Once you've updated to iCUE 4.30.162 or newer, you can start exploring iCUE Murals!
